MQS DMS is a modular package, consisting of: |
The purpose of this section is to provide a brief overview of how each module works, and the relationships between them. |
The Sales module has been designed specifically for a salesperson within a particular division, or for a sales team. It is only accessible by the sales people, and the Dealer Principal. |
Sales collects the pertinent client information required for either a quotation or the beginnings of a sale. This greatly reduces the the workload of the Finance and Insurance team with regards data capture. The information collected includes: |
Once this information is collected, a base price of the vehicle and the value of the options selected is calculated, giving a monetary total to the quotation. |
The salesperson has the ability to include a deposit figure, as well as any trade-in details (again via the "point-and-click" system, and these values will be deducted giving a representation of the total finance amount. |
Once these details have been entered, they are both printable and savable for future reference. Should the client have finance pre-approved, or wish to intiate the sale, the system will either print out or generate an electronic Offer To Purchase. |
The Multi-Branch feature of DMS was introduced to limit inter-branch competition within a group. Individual sales people from different branches of the same company will be unable to under-quote one another in an attempt to secure the sale, as the system provides a centralised group database. |
Should the client require or request time to shop around for other options, and then come back at a later stage, the information is stored, and can be easily retrieved, updated or modified, and the Offer To Purchase initiated. |
